My host family is keeping me in suspense. I emailed them, introducing myself, and they promptly emailed me back, asking for the date of my arrival in Japan. I told them the date, but I haven't heard back from them since- and it's been about two weeks since! Yesterday I attempted to call them on the phone, and it told me that the number has been disconnected or changed.

I'm flying out in one week, and I would really, really like to know that someone will be waiting at the airport for me. Please host family, write me back!

:O I hope nothing is wrong! I mean, who knows what kind of giant robots or sea creatures might have destroyed their quiet village??
But...I'm sure that didn't happen, I heard that things like that are only in movies (if you really want to believe that rumor). So, hopefully they let you know soon, eh?
